Neko Alley turns the cats you meet into tiny pixel pets who think they run the place. Point your camera at one. She moves into a little room on your phone, and from then on she tells you when it's time to play.

How it works

Meet. Play. Be judged.

No account, no setup. You find a cat; the cat decides the rest.

Meet

Open the camera on any cat: yours, a neighbour's, the one behind the restaurant. Her coat comes straight off the photo, and that exact cat moves in.

She asks

Once a day one of them wants to play. play, human. Hold a finger on the floor: it's a laser dot, and she leaves her seat to chase it wherever you take it.

She decides

fine. fun ♥, or bored. and she wanders off halfway. Either way the days add up to hearts, and every heart is a gift she left by the door: a hat, a bed, a window for the room.

She follows you to the island

The cat who wants to play sits in the Dynamic Island until you deal with her, a red dot trailing behind. Tap her there and the room opens.

Press and hold

From heart 3 she purrs and hearts float up. Before that you get the look, and sometimes the look comes with a shake of the head.

Her room, her rules

The furniture is hers; she only lets you move it. The box is irresistible, a bed almost as much, and the window goes back to its spot if you take the picture down.

Your photos stay put

Her coat is read from the photo on your phone. Your photos stay on your phone, and in your own iCloud if you're signed in; nobody else sees them. No account to make. Here's the whole policy.
